SALVIN. The Durluvm family are descended from Sir Osbert Silvayne, of Norton Woodhouse, in the forest of Shei'wood, who nourished 29. Henry III. Mr. Shirley says, that some of the name (which he supposes to be derived from that silca, or forest), were seated at Norton before the year 1140. Noble and Gentle Men of England.
