PINKNEY. The baronial family descended from Gilo de Pincheni, who lived in the reign of Henry I., and endoAved the monks of St. Lucien in France with lands at Wedon, co. Northampton. The family doubtless came hither at the Conquest. The localit)' of Pincheni I cannot ascei'tain.
