LANGFORD. Parishes, &c., in cos. Bedford, Berks, Norfolk, Essex, Somerset, Nottingham, Wilts,&c. The Cornish famil) derive from Roger de Langford, sheriff of Cornwall in 1225, who took his surname from his estate of Langford in the parish of Marham Chui-ch. C. S. Gilbert's Cornwall.
