KINGSLEY. A township and estate in CO. Chester, the property of Sir Ean\ilph de Kingsley before 1128. In the XIII. cent, the family divided into two branches, the younger contimung the name of Kingsley, and the elder adopting that of De Aula or Hale. See Hale.
