CRAMER. Germ. h-ame7\ a mercer or general dealer in a small way of business. Creamer is, according to ITalliwcll, a provincial name for " ore who has a stall in a market or fair," whith is evidently of the same origin. Again, to crame means in the North to join or mend, and a tinker is called a cramer, Halliwell.
