BONHAM. Although no place so called appears in tlie topograpliical dictionaries, this -would ajDpear to be, lilvc Bonbj', Bonchurch, &c., the name of some locality. There was, howcA'er, a religious order called honhomvies, or friars minors, from whom the name may have originated. Bonliomme occurs in tlie H.E. as a stationary surname.
